PMTS is owned and presented by the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA), formerly the National Screw Machine Products Association, a non-profit trade association founded in 1933.  Since its formation, PMPA has been the key resource for information in the Precision Machined Products Industry.  With a combined strength of over 500 members, PMPA is able to provide a variety of management and technical services to help support member companies in all areas of their business. Today, PMPA serves a growing membership from across North America. Members realize that to be successful in today's fast-paced Precision Machined Products market, access to information is imperative. Specialized reports, newsletters, online information and numerous opportunities to discuss Industry problems with other member companies at Association functions are all essential tools to stay competitive in a global marketplace. For more information about membership, visit www.pmpa.org or call 440-526-0300.

PMTS is co-presented by Production Machining (PM) and Modern Machine Shop (MMS) magazines.  PM was launched in January 2001 to serve the Precision Machined Products Industry.  Everyone in the business knows that making traditional screw machine parts is undergoing significant upheaval on multiple levels.  The magazine's editorial approach is to focus on the sea change that is occurring in this Industry through technical articles and process application stories.  PM was created to give its more than 20,000 recipients a reliable source for practical information to help them deal with these changes.  It is published in cooperation with PMPA.  Visit www.productionmachining.com for more information.

What PM brings to the Precision Machined Products Industry, Modern Machine Shop has provided to the general metalworking industry since its inception in 1928.  In a nutshell, MMS is about how metalworking is done.  In print and online, MMS delivers an integrated media opportunity to its recipients that is unprecedented in trade magazine publishing.  The whole idea -- as with PMTS and PM -- is to provide a conduit for people with problems to find people with solutions.  Visit www.mmsonline.com for more information.
