About Columbus
Ideal Location. Tremendous Attendance Potential.
Columbus, Ohio, considered by many as being situated in the heart of North America's precision machining region, has tremendous attendance potential. The surrounding area is one of the most concentrated manufacturing zones in the country, with nearly two-thirds of the U.S. population living within 555 miles of this capital city. Yet, it is still one of the most affordable cities with a variety of hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues in all price ranges.
Columbus is easy to get to, and easier than most cities to exhibit in!
Conveniently located, the Greater Columbus Convention Center, a comfortable, striking facility is only 10 minutes from Port Columbus International Airport . PCIA serves numerous airlines – offering more than 350 daily arrivals from and departures to every major city in the U.S. – and boasts some of the lowest airfares in the region. Parking is available right at the Convention Center for 3,000 vehicles, and there are an additional 10,000 spaces within two blocks. Ohio is a right-to-work state so work rules are more relaxed. Exhibitors may use convenient self-unloading areas and hand-carry cases or cartons to their booth.
