The Precision Machining Technology Show was a bright spot in a sluggish economy. North America's only production machining focused show returned to the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio, April 28-30, 2009. Despite a dismal economic background, PMTS proved to be a success with plenty of machines on display and quality attendees there to check them out.

Presented by the Precision Machined Products Association and co-presented by Production Machining and Modern Machine Shop magazines, the biennial PMTS is an international gathering of manufacturers, suppliers and end users of products and services dedicated entirely to the production of precision machined products and turned parts.
